How far can a used Kia EV9 go on a charge?
EPA estimates for 2024–2025 models range from 230 miles (Light RWD) to 304 miles (Light Long Range RWD). The AWD Wind and Land are rated at 280 miles and the GT-Line at 270. Expect less in cold weather.
Does a used Kia EV9 qualify for the VXC rebate?
Yes, if you qualify for Vehicle Exchange Colorado and the price is $50,000 or less. On Sept. 29, 2026, all four of our certified EV9s were under that cap, so an eligible buyer would get $6,000 off at signing.
Can a Kia EV9 use Tesla Superchargers?
Yes. 2024–2025 EV9s use Kia's NACS adapter and the Kia Access app to charge at Tesla Superchargers. 2026 models have the NACS port built in.
How much can a Kia EV9 tow?
Up to 5,000 lb for the Land and GT-Line AWD trims when properly equipped. The Wind AWD is rated at 3,500 lb and RWD trims at 2,000 lb.
Is the EV9 battery warranty transferable?
Kia covers the EV system, including the battery, for 10 years or 100,000 miles from the first date of service. Kia's warranty manual says remaining coverage other than the original-owner powertrain warranty transfers to later owners; ask us to confirm on a specific vehicle.
Does the EV9 have a third row?
Yes. The EV9 seats 6 with second-row captain's chairs or 7 with a bench, depending on trim, with 20.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row.
